She has a sun theme so it kinda matches.

I would Stay away from the bone feet. I don't think it fits her tank role with dainty little things like that.
I'm not a big fan of the scales design around her stomach, I'd do something more along the lines of her original skin. It gives the eye a place to rest.

So... latest progress.
I decided to make her hairstyle more voluminous to be seen from distance, I think i bring her head\face more forward also, cause now it looks a bit strange.
Still ned to clean up a bit and work the details, May be i will put it aside for a couple of days and give my attention to her equipment.

Updated shield concept, i think now it will be more suitable for her armor and overall theme.
Head seems to be pushed backwards on the model.
I liked the dreads. They felt more Egyptian for some reason.

Yeah her head needs to be pushed forward a bit.
I tried to make dreads but then decided that i just collect them into a big ponytail (it will be standing out more from distance), I will add separate points to emphasise that it's still dreads.
but you've made me uncertain. I think i will do a variation.
Her face, cleavage and arms was intended to be only bare parts, to provide some rest from all that gold, considering this i don't want to rearrange composition on this stage.
I'm not a fan of battle bikinis also, but i thought it will work with her bare arms, like a dress of some sort.

Aha, bundling the dreads, yeah that could work actually. What struck me with the ponytail-like shape was that it felt European, just the shape itself.
There's also the alternative of doing something like the reference you posted. Don't know if that would be braided but having it like a big veil would cover up a lot of the empty space behind the head-armor, perhaps making the head as a whole more readable when seen from above.
Could you do a paintover? Please)
