Hey guys!!
I simply love League of Legends art and get inspired by it every time something new comes out!
For my entry to the 3d character art I’ll be doing a new skin for Braum.
My first idea was to mix some gladiator armor with something like an imposing king or a knight with a lion shield.
Here is some work in progress of the concept art and some sketches I have done.

Sorry for taking so long to post again but I’ve had a lot of work with this stuff.
First I tried other two options for the last concept but I wasn't glad about them. The gladiator style looked too similar to his normal skin and then I decided to change the whole first idea.
I started the new idea with some rough sketches focusing on a skin that would give him a nice top view silhouette and providing a better balance between armor and body in a more unique way.
I also started modeling him and his shield.
The concepts and models are still very rounded but I’m still looking for some square and pointed style, my main goal now is to find out how to make the armor and shield details.
I have put some colors in the concepts but I’m not sure about that, I’ll leave all the color tests for the end of the modeling process.
Thanks for the comments, hope you all like this new stuff.
See ya!!"
Here is some update from the high poly model.
It's not finished yet, there is a lot of body and armor details I need to add.
See you soon!
Looking forward to see more.
Here is the final high poly model.
Im thinking about add some cracks and stone details or maybe do this directly on the texture because I need to start the low poly model right now.
Hope I can finish it until next weekend to start painting on december.
Thanks for all feedbacks!
I suggest making the chain thicker and with less links
So, I tried it but didn't like the result.
But I have to admit that the chain is really hard to see now.
Thanks for the feedback, I will try to make it thicker
Sorry about the delay.
I'm running against time trying to finish this character
Here are some update images:
-lowpoly model with 13.089 tris (I know it's a lot, haven't had time to optimize more)
-WIP diffuse texture, still have a lot to work on it.
Hope that tomorrow can post some color studies I'm working on.
Cheers!
You have to finish it, he's going to look awesome man! 4 days left, you can certainly do it if you prioritize your tasks. For the posing at the end, look at Dantert's Pool party Darius thread. He was explaining how he made a super quick and efficient posing directly in ZBrush. That might help saving some hours of rigging work at the end.
Good luck bro-m!
Yes I prefer to work in grayscale first to have more control os light and shadow
Thanks for the tip about zbrush, when you sad that yesterday I've had just finished posing it.
Thanks for the support!!!
Thanks :)
For now this is the final texture.
I'll try to use my last days to create a nice presentation board.
Hope you like it

the final color pallet could use a colder hue tho for accents or contrast.
Good luck everybody!!!
Really digged the style.
