Starting with some color experiments and adding soldiers. The scene is based on her lore, specifically the defense of the Placidium while using her Q "Bladesurge".

Defining the outfit feel, Ionia fashion is harsh on me. Also introducin the weapons and some minor adjustments.

Finally done some rendering on the image. I had some work at the office but I'm going into this again with all my might.

Going into the background...had a hard time finding tones that would suit the character design. Any suggestion at this stage is useful, I still lack experience with bg.

After finishing the bg, I will jump back into the main figure to do some adjustments, like add some hair over face and secondary light refraction and tweak a little more the metal textures and lightning.

My last WIP, almost there. Next objective is pushing into the textures, enviromental light, reflections and some particles.

Thats a good observation! I think you mean it look too bright, and I agree, kind of ignored that detail.
