[Riot Art Contest] - Yorick

hello all, this is my first time ever doing an online art contest thing, so i'm a bit nervous, but i really wanted to give this one a try. i'm going to give yorick an updated splash page for his original skin. there's so many champs to choose from, and they're all so amazing, but since i love how riot has been giving champs new art, or in sion's case a total makeover, i wanted to try that for yorick.

in case anyone didn't know or forgot, yorick is an undead gravekeeper.

here are a few sketches to test out some poses and to learn more about how to draw yorick. his shovel is his main weapon, aside from the ghouls he raises, so i wanted to showcase that.

The angle is pretty much the same but you have added depth/overlay effects which makes it look more dynamic. Sadly you placed Yorick and the ghost right in the centre of the picture, which makes it look a bit more static.

thank you, Silvarspark, i really appreciate the feedback! i tried to make some adjustments here for the layout since i agree it was flat.

quick change, flipped the ghouls in the front. i thought the sharp toothed ghoul would make for a more interesting load portrait than the derpy looking ghoul...
