Riot Art Comp - Leona Digital Defender Skin

I'm a concept art student from South Africa, and I really want to give this comp a shot. I haven't been playing LoL for long, so I'm not that clued up regarding the lore and characters.
Regardless, I want to do a sci-fi take on Leona. See if it works and/or looks cool.
