I've been modeling for about 6 months and recently noticed that I don't seem to be improving as much as I'd like. I hope that posting here regularly and (hopefully) getting critiqued, I'll be able to speed up that process a bit.
I'm also going to commit to modeling for at least 1 hour a day.

did a robot today - probably an hour and a half for the model and then another 30-45 minutes for textures.
dunno if I'm gonna post everyday (seems kinda excessive), but maybe it'd be cool to be able to look back and see a complete log of everything I did over an extended period, and it'd help keep me honest.
thank you! in blender you can turn on edges under properties>render>post processing. i'm not sure what you'd do for other programs, but i know that cel/toon shaders often have an outlining option so that might be worth looking for

tried out alchemy for the first time - it's really fun
