[Riot Art Contest] - Return of the King - Azir, Nasus & Renekton

Im not too familiar with LoL but I love the art style. I initially saw Azir and was certain he was going to be my entry but then I started to look at other champions and saw that there were two champions with similar Egyptian style armor. I read a little bit about possible lore tie ins and decided that this would be a cool way to make a group composition. Azir leading the way with Nasus and Renekton at his side. This is my first pose sketch, block out and movement. C&C are very much welcome!:)

This is looking pretty awesome! I like the camera angle and how you showed your perspective planes. The only thing is that Renekton and Nasus actually hate each other according to Lore XD But League isn't too big on it, and they're working on scraping it and starting over anyways so I wouldn't worry too much.

Other small things, watch out for the tangent from Azir's armor and Nasus leg and Nasus Weapon to Reneketon. Unless that was intentional

I read that and I read someone talking about Azir had potentially ruled over them at one point and I just ran with it.

The over lapping is intentional but will probably be adjusted.

Overlapping is fine, tangents are something else. http://curiousoldlibrary.blogspot.com.es/2011/10/schweizer-guide-to-spotting-tangents.html This´ll explain everyting on tangents, after you´ve read this you´ll be spotting them everywhere and eliminating them where they stand hehe. Good luck with your illustration!

I appreciate the reminder for tangents as I have been out of the art loop for a while. lol I'll take careful consideration during the process!

Small update, trying a different pose. Im going to try different poses for all but wanted to show progress on Azir as he is the focus.
