I've been working on a model for a bit now and I just finished the UV's and low poly.
However, I've been hearing how my UV placement is usually quite terrible , and some edge-flow parts as well.
To my untrained eye , this is fine.
But I have an inkling it's got a lot of errors.
Help ;_;

Looking at it I'm thinking the head is a bit large in comparison to everything else.
For instance, the shape you have under the hands could be straightened out to fit into a layout much better ; the tentacles could be more straight too, and so on. There is a ton of space you can still use here.
- if you have any straight lines, you could flatten them, so they are straight in the UV's, and you won't have antialiasing issues at a low res normal map (jagged edges): the belt for instance
What do you mean with distorted?
You mean the rotation of it?
