A small bit of c&c, though: When it comes to female body shapes and anatomy, the greater trochancter (the bone that sticks out of where the thigh meets hipbone) is used as a landmark for hips. It creates a the line where the crotch ends legs attach together.
In your WIP shots, this landmark is a bit too high up. To fix it, draw a line across the widest area of the hips. Draw another line where the... actaully.. let me just show you what I mean:
In the original, you can see how the widest point of the hips is above the floor of the pelvis. The modified image has the widest point moved to the same line as the floor of the pelvis. Keeping this landmark in mind will make sure that your ladies have the shapely hips we all know and love.
