Early sketch. I'll probably change everything. What I do know is it will have a sunset color palette and I think I'll replace a dummy with Fiddlesticks.

Tightened the sketch, changed the layout and details. Next is blocking in values.

Most values are in. This is my process for most client work. All characters, sky, ground and foreground are on their own layers so I can change something without having to repaint everything. Makes sense for the clients who want to change things up after the initial concept phase. Next are the colors!
