Hello everyone, this is my first post here though I've been observing Polycount for pretty long time. Lately I fell in love with Sona, so when I read about contest I made instant decision to draw her. I'm sure most of you know her well.
My reference:
And today I had an idea for skin in victorian style. I hope we'll see what comes out. I don't even expect to win any place, rather consider it as a opportunity to compare my skill with others
Expect sketches within day or two c:

I've already changed the concept to cover her legs, added some details etc. But- it might be controversial- whenever I see any references to past fashions in games they don't really stick what actually was. And please don't do me wrong, I do know how victorian fashion looks like, but also I know what sells nowadays. I took some elements from mass culture, baroque etc. Maybe the skin's name isn't very fortunate but from everything I came up with it fits best. Going to the heart of the matter I'd feel strange when I'd get erased in sketch phase not because my lack of skill but because of simplification in design's name XD Tomorrow I'll have some rent time to work on it, and I hope that you guys will judge the changes.
The name is the identity of your skin. You said victorian doll, a victorian doll doesn't look like that, so the question know is " Do you just don't care about the basic of doing a concept" "Did you just put a random name that mean nothing, but if so why in your description you said you were going for victorian style if you don't do victorian style ?"
Boobs sell, boobs are sona trademark, but look at the xmas skin, it's a victorian skin, Do you see any boob on it ? nope, does it still read as sona, yes !
This is a victorian doll
Not to sound mean or anything but for me, your drawing is a sona cosplaying will of the abyss from pandora heart, not a victorian skin.
Now the question isn't to sell or not, but is your goal to do an anime style cosplay, or a victorian skin. Think about it. A solid concept is the most important part.
