I would definitely mess with her anatomy and proportions as they looks fairly off. Not sure how thick you want her to be but she looks really wide. It looks probably the most awkward from the perspective shot. Her crotch is nonexistent too which is a tad odd. i think her waist is too high with her upper legs being too long. The anatomy looks odd going from the torso into the legs.
hmm you might be right, I had her crotch lower down before and better defined i think, but I kept looking at kayle and felt like her crotch is as high as i have it now. But maybe i just kept looking at kayle way too much. I will have another look at what I'm gone do next to make it look better. Thanks for the hint. Btw check out some of your stuff, you seem very talented ^^. I loved your portfolio.
I was abit bussy past day, but wanted to do some work on the model, so I thought try to concept a sword for her real quick. Also did some work on her, but still needs some more work before it's time for low poly.
So I'm pretty much getting to low poly modelling stage, I had some ppl telling me the face needs more work. I would appreciate it if someone could give me some pointers.
Hey Rambo! There are a few things you could do to immediately improve your model.
Your first hurdle will be making her more identifiable as the character. Gather face and anatomy references and establish proportions -- her face needs to be more feminine and her body needs to have female proportions. I would suggest finding a face out there that you want to model and use it as a foundation. Your model is currently looking far too masculine.
Focus on forms first over details! You would benefit from separating out your model's hi-poly layers so that you can define the forms separately before bringing it together [the wings in particular]. Things are looking rather lumpy as a result.
Oh hey haze, I didn't get much response early so I thought no one was even checking my corner, so what I did was that I seeked help out on the facebook and you are most correct about the masculine part. The thing is that I wanted to to be abit different than whats out there, like the game of thrones brienne of tarth, but more bones, but I had more references on my computer and did look up some more even, but this was the best I could do to get the combination in between. I guess another hair style would have helped to make her more feminine, but I really wanted to have the slick look on it. Yeah I also had like 20 layers for different parts. Thanks for taking your time and commenting, I will take all of it into consideration and try to improve for the next model.
Well here is a the latest WIP, Optimized and I splashed some colors on it, I'm having some technical difficulty with the sword blade. But hopefully I will have it fixed/colored and rigged by tommorow. Hope you guys like it.
It looks like your older wings had better shape to the "fingers" Where they go from thick to thin. Just like bat or human fingers... Themost recent version got flattened out or something? Also the skulls on her shoulders are cool, but the nostril area is too far on the sides. If you google some images you can see that its more of a cavity in the middle. I hope that makes sense. I only mention it because it distracted me from looking at her as a whole. Instead I was wondering what animal they could be. Great job getting so far so fast.
Here is a funny truth, the clumsy me thought the competition ended 19th last month, thats why I was in such a rush and kind of skipped the commends I got. But I guess it turned out fairly fine. I will try to animate it before 19th this month I guess. But thanks for all the feed back.

I think Kayle deserves a new skin. I will try to work on that.
Referens imagens, and ofcourse kayle herself.
This is as far as I got today. As you might be able to see I'm mostly testing what fits her character. Hope you guys like it. Feel free to comment.
Gah, everyones work looks so amazing, I hope I can manage to make an eye catcher atleast with this one. I thought post an update.
