Im new to Mari I have a setting that I dont know how to turn off there is box that wont allow me to project textures outside it or paint. It shows the dimensions 2048 x 2048 16 bit Half Paintable. I have attached a screenshot to show what it looks like. Can anyone tell me how to disable this? so I can paint within the ortographic view.

Go to the Painting Tab >> Paint Buffer section >> Click Reset.

You may need to add the Painting Shelve via the View Menu >> Palettes.

This usually happens when switching views (ortho, persp, etc) or maximizing/minimizing canvas.

It will sometimes fix/reset itself if you paint a stroke & bake it.

What you see is your UV, You can´t paint outside of the UV space inside mari. Do you wan´t to create "padding"? Mari does it on the export of the file.

Edit: Ahh now i see what you mean :D

The texture is not "half" paintable. It´s 16 bit which is half-Float(32bit).

In Mari I have problems exporting textures I thought that it could have been the half paintable 2048 x 2048 box. I have a UV'd mesh that I am trying to export textures from here is a screenshot of the UVs and in the second screenshot what the textures look like when I export them. I forgot to mention I am using a Geforce GTX 470 graphics card 1.5GB memory could my graphics card be the problem do I need to upgrade? I cant seem to find a solution on how to fix this texture export problem I emailed The Foundry my Mari log file and they cant find any problems with my settings either.
