Hi everyone! What do you think? I was going for the ever popular steampunk look so I gave the brass a little bit of wear and some dirt, i was going for subtle. My goal was for it to look like this automaton has been maintaining a fireplace in a nice clean estate and the automaton is itself periodically cleaned.

    I would maybe go with a higher resolution texture map, especially if you are just going with the single asset as it will make your texture nice and sharp and you can see details. Dem details :) because its looking blurry in some parts of the texture. also maybe add some subtle ware in places as it will help make your texture look more interesting.

    Cool model. This image looks compressed, unless the textures are just of lower quality. Add a ground plane with some shadow or AO and change the background color to something that makes it pop more. Maybe a cobalt blue? Looking good, though.
