hi guys, i decided to illustrate leblanc, because i main her ) i wasnt sure about the champ and skin at the beginning, but i thought to myself not to overthink things and to keep it simple.

i´m starting with quick ideas in pencil and refine some of the ideas in photoshop

I spend some hours researching and come up with these rough ideas. i then pulled some of the ref and drew a refined lineart. i lost faith in myself for some time. but in the end it didn´t look too bad and i liked it. i focused on having a dynamic and flowy composition. i made the shape-language similar to the style of giovanni boldini, because i think leblanc is a very gracile champ. so on with the color thumb. so basically leblanc has the maincolor purple, yellow and some dark blueish tones. im trying to push them into a nice composition and find a good balance.

today I made an underpainting and at the same time seperate the figure from the background. then i seperated the figure elements and lighted them with help of the color thumb. when seperating, i constantly think about the shapes of the elements, so im replacing/refining the linedrawing with them kind of.
