[Riot Art Contest] - Overlord Malz or Original Thresh skin
aaahh hello friends! (´・ω・`)
I've been very indecisive with my choices for splash reboots so I thought I would make a quick place-holder post to force me to choose a path. I really want to design an original skin for Thresh. I have an idea for it but I wish to hold off on the details of it until I can have solid concepts of it done.
Otherwise, I'll probably do Overlord Malzahar. I really want the challenge of painting armour and he is one of my favorite champions.

okay, so I started off with thumbnailing some quick compositions. I'm still a little undecided so I tried out 3 champions, Malzahar, Zyra, and then one for my original Thresh skin.
I had this idea for a while as Thresh as the Sandman, a myth that has both friendly and malicious connotations. I personally like the idea of an evil Sandman, one who will steal your eyes if he catches you awake and return to his home in the crook of the crescent moon.
I'm still working on the design, but here is the start of it. I'm going with the theme of Islamic astronomy, mostly because I think it would fit best with the 'sand' theme and give me a lot of cool patterns and shapes to work with.
Anyway, it's kind of a bare start, but any and all input would be appreciated it.

working on colors now! I wanted to stay away from stereotypical colors and try for cooler 'night' colors. I think I'm liking the first one the best. I really like the contrast of the colors.
