I think i agree with Evanescfan that the blade should stop dead in the ground like it is nice and lodged in there. You could even follow that up with him giving it a big hefty pull out of the floor?
Agree with the speed up, I also would like to see his arms "straightened out" when he pulls it outta the ground. shoulder blades could show some elasticity too.
Further nitpicking; turn on the trajectories (or motion path) of the blade and make sure it goes from fast to slow, it seems to wander a bit after it comes out, then shoots backward with the proper momentum.
Love the hangtime in the air, and when his blade gets stuck in the ground. I feel like after he pulls the sword out, the weight of the sword could pull his body a little further...seems a little quick the way it settles in currently. Great work man.

For an impact like that, I'd think the blade sunk a few inches and made it harder to pull out, let alone wobble while still on gorund

i asked few pple to look and tell if something is missing at my work, that really helped to enhance
