I second Diegos suggestion! would definitely fit the pirate look more than the aztec/mayan design! or maybe something else but still jolly rogery, maybe a sea shell, a crab shell or a giant shark tooth.
This is looking really cool so far. My one bit of critic would be to bring back the level of detail some. I like the handle of the sword better without all the added little details, you have to remember how this will look from a distance, and all that stuff is just going to read as messy noise. The belt buckles from this close up already look really noisy.
Ok I'll figure something out! The crab shell thing is a good idea, I'll see what I can do with this!.....and the octopus has 8 tentacles....because....you know....octo --> eight.....pus......--> tentacles? ^^ Thanx for the feedback anyway
Thanks to many feedbacks I finally found something I'm happy with for this shoulder armor, but since my version of Rengaaaarh is not "pirate of the caribbeany", it couldn't be a living octopus
I also tried some color variants, feel free to tell me what suits him best
and a quick composite to see if he fits the map (but the cam is far from being right )
