Giving Nunu the zombie treatment. Taking inspiration from "the thing" so going to try and make him pretty gruesome.

Heres a quick ref-board to give you an idea.

    Finished up some quick sketches. Quite like the overall design but some of the details need a little work. Also the design for nunu himself needs a little work.

    Main Elements of the design:

    -Large grin showing both teeth and gums
    -black deep set eyes
    -Fur almost all decayed with tattered patches remaining
    -Bones showing through rotted skin
    -Shoulders turned into snarling jaws
    -Stomach opened up as a large mouth with internal organs and rib cage on show
    -Brain exposed by Nunu holding open the skull
    -Large parasite worm growing from yetis back to hold nunu
    -Nunus snowballs replaced with skulls

    Would love some feedback on what needs changing and also on which nunu face design you guys like best.

    Wip of my progress so far. 2-3 hours in now and started adding in some detail. Decided to make a post now so I can make big changes if need be. Waiting until I have some more resolution til I start sculpting in the fur and decided to make it more curly than spiky to save on polygons for the final model.

    Would love some feedback and advice and what works and what doesnt.

    I think the proportions can be pushed quite a bit further. His in game model has a much smaller head, larger lower body...good start though!

    You may have rushed to the details too soon. Lower the subdivisions before you fix those proportions like Sir Slosh said.

    Ok so I have changed most of the proportions on the model now, here is a quick list.

    -Head made smaller and moved further down
    -Shoulders pushed up to emphasise head shape
    -Arms made smaller and hands made larger
    -Stomach area given volume and also more shape
    -Feet made larger
    -Shoulder mouthes given more shape
    -Fur given more shape and detail.

    Added Nunu now and changed the anatomy on the shoulders to fit the original model and make him look more imposing.

    Still changing the fur constantly to make the low poly less complicated.
