Personally I would stay away from sharpen filters in the case of fur.
I think that if you make it less contrast and more volumnous it will give you more feel of material.

So here is the dynamic duo and ready for battle. I got them posed today and Nunus textures in a decent place. Tomorrow I wanna do more refinement before I make all my sheets for submission. If anyone sees anything wrong let me know! Oh, BTW this crew is total 15,000 tris... may be on the high side a bit, but hopefully thats ok with having two characters. thanks!
nice dude! only thing i see is the tones are a bit desaturated and that wireframe is kinda "in your face" maybe a nice either white or black wires? love the model
Fantastic job! I really love the face texture on Nunu. Kind of a shame you can't see it well when he's on his Yeti cuz of the scale. I zoomed in on his face in your sketchfab link and the face is painted amazingly!
Dude, this is sick! I saw the beauty shot on my phone first, and I thought you made an illustration first. I thought, "wow, that's some sweet concept art right there." and then I was like, "holy shit, that's the render!"
