[Riot Art Contest] - Ice Warden Wukong -- Red Dawn Walker
So I saw this contest and was excited because i just finished an illustration of an inferno lux skin that would be perfect for this, and then I read the rules and saw that it has to be brand new. XD So I present to you Ice Wukong.
I'm thinking of changing the right arm pose to bring it up front clenching in front of him. And to change the staff (it's hideous), i just wanted to get something in there as a place holder for now.
As far as lighting. pretty dark on the side facing away from viewer, and really bright on side towards viewer to match the mountains that i'm going to paint over and use the same lighting for in the back.
To make the background more interesting i'm thinking of doing a lightly sketched asian temple/pagoda either on the mountain behind wukong, or on the left side of the page, bigger.
Anyway, that's my current thoughts, I'd love to hear what you guys like or dislike about it. :poly128:

I still need to add a new staff, and give him a circlet.
Which direction do you guys like the right arm going better? to the side or forward?
Any advice welcome.
I think the arm up works better without the pagoda there for some reason too.
As always, i'd love to hear any suggestions.
