"You're too lazy to set up the scene and rig the your champion in maya? No problem my friend we have the solution for you! "
Test pose and render of the lowpoly in zbrush, HA! And the shadow on the floor works great
If you want to do the same just BPR the model with flatshade material and the light coming from the top, save the BPR passes and compose them in photoshop
@Byren: thanks! yeah it's really subtle but I wanted to make the face a little asymmetric with the expression. @SorinLupu: thanks, I'm happy that people think it's funny. @hypronost: Thanks Yeah...now every time I see the orca toy of my skin I hear it screaming "Please heelp!" or "Kill me now..!" XD @calixel: You're very welcome, nice to see that was useful to someone. @mrnunez: Thanks! here you go then...
...I'm not sure that these will be my final, let's see the response first.

Let me know what you think about them!
So much win with this guy! I think the palm trees and bright blue are really fitting the them and humour of your entry, cool presentation! Maybe add a frame or some borders? The HR sculpt seem to be floating, you should paint a quick shadow in toshop.
One minor but important thing is that the font you use for your email is not super easy to read. Is it a 3 or a reversed E after your name? I know I'm nitpicky here but you don't want people to send job offers to a wrong adress!
Other than that, powerfull stuff man! Congrats on finishing!!!
Really nice Dantert! even wich such a big model change to the champion the likeness in the face still allows us to see that it is Darius. I really like how clean and tight you model is! Congrats.
Looking great! I feel the saturation and contrasted graphical elements in the background for your shots are a bit too overpowering, especially on your beauty shot... Can you pull it back some? I feel like it's taking attention away from your model.
Looks great man! Glad you finished you You've been all over the forums these past few months (like critiquing my stuff for example....ty haha)
Anywho to be devil's advocate to haZe (sorry! x.x) I'm going to go ahead and say your graphic elements, while they take visual focus away from your model, help to establish an overall aesthetic and feel to your model, and your graphic elements definitely have that "pooly party" feeling to me.
That's just me though; maybe lower the opacity if you're gonna change it?
Goldo_O: thanks for the useful suggestions
JRancourt:Thanks!
Pav3d: Thanks! Nice to know that it looks like Darius
Avenger84: Thank you!
Moonstone: Thanks
Byren: Yep you two are right, I added a border on top and bottom and il looks better.
darkmag07: Dunno Thanks though!
slosh: Thanks sir!
haZe: maybe.. some people love it some people hate it, I tried to change it but it doesn't look good as it is now to me. I think I'll leave it like that. Appreciated the comment though!
D_Wall: Thanks! I'll take the bullet this time and see how it goes.
MMKH: Thanks!
Sntinel:Thanks! I'll make a little tut
here are my finals:
here I decided to add the shadows only inder the bodies and not under the orca since it looked weird with all the shadows..
hahah awesome. You used ZBrush...just like me
He came up great. Funny that something so different from the game concept wise fits in so well visually. Great job
is incredible , I'm surprised Darius is my favorite champion and find this type of work is simply amazing my repetos and admiration combines artwork like this , I would love to try it in the game . ( there anyway ? ) ( apologize if my English is not very good I'm from Honduras XD )

This turned out really well, nice shot.
@Popol: Thanks!
Today I made some poses for the final shots and I decided to try Sketchfab, so here it is:

I found some errors while setting up the model in sketchfab that I will fix tomorrow.
I love specially the orca toy, defenetly would love to see this guy on action!

..and...sorry I couldn't resist...
The plastic effect is great!
Poses could be better and more dynamic.
I'd love to see him riding the whale on a huge wave
Their species name Orcinus orca literally translates to "killer whale" so calling them killer whales is entirely appropriate.
Maybe I'll work on additional poses after the results of the contest if I have time.

You thought about the possibility of an inflatable urf? =P
Good luck in the contest o/
