I'm mainly a 3D artist, but I've done a lot of 2d concept art as well. I'm looking to learn more about illustrating. Think movie posters, design principles, graphic design, books on color theory etc.
Do you guys have any recommendations for books on this topic? Or any other material that may work? Thanks!

A very good book that explains to you color theory in great amount of detail.
I have a copy that I need to read more. The concepts are very essential to any graphic designer or all artists for that matter.
I'd also be pretty interested in some literature regarding concept art and illustration basics.
Also for design ref, dorling kindersley and taschen do the some of the best reference books
for design method's and ideas you can check out pauls lectures http://www.autodestruct.com/thumbwar.htm and these are good too
