We are seeking an Art Lead to work on-site at Liquid Development, located in Portland, Oregon. As an Art Lead, you will have the opportunity to leave your mark on multiple projects each year. These projects range from Triple-A, next-generation console titles, to fantastically fun and popular social and mobile games. Liquid Development offers a fun and cooperative work atmosphere, where collaboration is encouraged among the diversely talented team to remain on the cutting edge of content creation.
Here is a brief list of responsibilities and requirements for an Art Lead at Liquid Development:
Expert in 3Ds Max or Maya.
Excellent Portfolio showing all phases of game asset production High Poly, Game resolution, UVs/Bakes and Materials.
Set clear standards of excellence by creating exemplary work.
Work with Art Managers to refine best practices.
Proficient in physically based rendering techniques.
Keen eye for detail and the ability to match various styles.
Eager to explore other emerging technologies and tools.
Enthusiasm to teach and lead other artists.
Follow revision notes precisely.
Excellent communication skills.
Pluses
Ability to work in multiple software packages and game engines (i.e. 3Ds Max, Maya, Zbrush, Unreal, Crytek, Unity).
Strong traditional art skills.
