Hi guys, I'm starting my Final Year project very shortly and I would like to know people's opinions on which engine I should use.
My plan is to re-create the TES: Oblivion Waterfront home interior to current gen standards. I currently have no experience in CE or UE4, I've only used UDK so far but I want to learn a new engine for this project. I think I'm going to do an asset test in each engine to see which I might prefer, but I'd like to know what advantages/disadvantages each engine might bring me.
This will be my main project to showcase in my portfolio when I finish uni, so I'm wanting it to look as good as I can possibly get it in the timeframe.
Here's a couple of images of the environment I'm looking to create (it's basically a small wooden shack interior):

It's very well documented as well, huge range of sample content for you to reverse engineer too.
+1 to UE4.
As a massive plus to that decision, my group project I'll be doing alongside my personal final year project will be a dungeon crawler made in UE4.
I'll be posting up my work for feedback when I start this environment, again, cheers guys
