Animatic in Maya

Does anyone know how to make an animatic in Maya? I have 58 images that I want to use for an animatic, but I'm not sure how to create one in Maya. Do you use 58 separate image planes and key visibility? Or is there a much simpler way? Thanks.

I think that's what you want? Playblast is for rendering an animation to a movie or a series of images. You mention planes, maybe you're wanting to do a flipcard animation in your scene?

you could use the camera sequencer and an animated sequence in the texture file node...
