2nd Head Sculpt

Hello, this is my second head sculpt for class. We're learning mudbox in this class so I started with the head basemesh provided.

I'm modeling it after Jet Black from cowboy bebop. What do you guys think? Any suggestions for improvement? Anything you like about it in particular so I can expand upon it?

    Im not an organic modeler but I think you need more detail. His head is smooth and then all of a sudden there is a deep scar with beard-hair folicle detail. The viewer's eyes are immediately drawn to the most detailed aspect being the beard.

    Edit:
    I know you are looking at Jet Black, but anime is an odd source to try to get into sculpting detail especially for a head.

    Forget about details. Focus entirely on the basic shapes, keep the polycount low while sculpting. Look for anatomic reference and also I´d recommend looking at many, many other sculpted heads and try ty find out, why they are better (or not) than yours.
