Modeling | how do you change model edge flow?

Hello everyone, I have a simple question about modeling topo but it's one that I always have a problem with. I want to know how to move 5 points (Sorry but I don't remember what they are called) around in a model to change the edge flow. If anyone knows how to move them around in a model and change the edge flow this would really help me. Here are some example, the red line is what I want my edge flow to look like, and the red circle are the 5 points around my current model.
