IN PROGRESS: Quixel Suite won't start : "Tampering Detected"

Hello everyone,

Since today, I can't launch NDO or DDO.
The Suite launch, but at the moment I click on one of the three icon, this error message pop up :

I tried reinstalling (of course) but same error everytime. I'm running Quixel Suite on Photoshop CC, Windows 8.1

I hope I can continue using this amazing software !

    Hi! This error is extremely rare and we´ve only encountered it once or twice before. Did something happen to your computer before this error message started to appear or was it out of the blue? So sorry about this!

    Nothing happened to my computer before. The error begin to appear in the end of the day just like that, but I used the Suite usually in the afternoon. I think I installed an update for Unreal Engine 4 and another software called "Easy Auto Clicker" (name says it all), if that's help.

    Sadly to say, the only other time we encountered this, the only thing that helped was a system reinstall. But that time it happend after a system crash, which isn´t the case for you and that is very strange! Let me look in to this some more and get back to you!

    Strangest thing : Today, I can launch the Suite again, without the error message. I did not uninstall/install anything, my computer didn't crash. Well I'm glad it's ok on my side, but it didn't help you mush to understand the problem x)

    I am also having problems with the Quixel suite. I just ran the install from the Get Beta page. It completed, but when I run either the suite or the individual programs it crashes and says "SUITE has stopped working".

    @cdon - Hi! I´ll go through the most common causes for errors just to see if any of those will solve your problem:

    - Do you have any non alpha numerical characters in the path to where the suite is installed?

    - Run both suite and PS as admin

    - Did you install the suite on a network drive?

    - Do you have a non englsh version of PS?

    - Have you trie reinstalling the suite?

    Hopefully one of these is the source of your problem, let me know if they do anything for you, and if not we keep digging!

    Tried this out again today and still getting a crash at launch.

    The suite is installed in C:\Users\Public\Quixel\SUITE which is where it defaulted to.

    I tried running this to launch it as administrator - C:\Users\Public\Quixel\SUITE\x86\bin\Release\SUITE.exe

    It is not installed on a network drive. I just used the installer that I got from the Get Beta link on the main page.

    This is the English version.

    I have tried un-installing and re-installing multiple times. Still crashes at launch.

    I just downloaded and installed the 1.5 preview that was updated yesterday and am still getting this crash.

    I actually have a more or less same problem : The Suite works on 86x but not x64,i have tried every suggestion in your post but nothing works :(

    This is very strange! But in order to solve this, add Teddy on skype: teddybeargbg and he will personally help you get this sorted! he is traveling tomorrow and might be out of reach during the day but should be available shortly!

    We figured out what was causing this. It turns out there was a picture viewer codec for viewing .tgas in Windows Explorer that was incompatible with this. With it installed it crashed NDo. When I uninstalled it NDo launched correctly. For reference, the codec causing the problem was FastPictureViewer Codec Pack.

    i have another problem: My quixel doesn`t start (the process starts for a short time but stops immediately), even when I run it as an admin (64 bit; windows8.1).

    (and yes I tried to turn it off and on again;I tried to reinstall it, but nothing works.)

    I changed nothing and the Suite worked some hours ago.
    What can I do to get a fast working solution?

    What version of Photoshop are you running? Also, have you tried launching PS first and then the SUITE and the other way around as well?

    I had some problems with it before, when I had two version of Photoshop. I have the Adobe cloud, and would have 2014 CC and then 2015 CC. I did a full uninstall of all adobe products and reinstalled both Quixel Suite and Photoshop 2015 CC, and haven't had a problem since
