I wanted to start this thread because I am about to complete my final year in High School. As of now and forward on I will be working on pieces for a portfolio site. If you have any critiques or feedback let me know, I am always interested in learning how to model the right way.
I will be regularly uploading my stuff here so please enjoy!
>implying you'll ever get any better bryce. I think you should try and make the blade a blade, right not it couldn't cut butter, other than that it looks pretty good and I think you did that all last night right? Also try having some more rim lighting possibly. Overall I really like the render and i think it's pretty yolo.

Right now you have a knife that cannot cut and cleaning it would be a mess. Meat would get stuck everywhere in all those edges and grooves, but thats the concept I see. Try redoing the edge so you get a real edge that can slice something, that bevel you have there hinders that
I'm not sure I'd worry about cleaning it at all, to be honest. The leading edge doesn't seem like its very sharp is a bit of a problem, and the biggest thing I see, but looks like your modeling is very clean so good stuff there.
The top and the handle is more rounded around the sides your is a bit flat (some of the sides are flat but the area that are not could be rounded a bit more) especially around the handle grip area making it painful to hold. The bottom caliber or w.e it called is alot wider then the top one yours is equal width on both section
You could also boost your gloss and emmisive a bit more and make it pop. The top aiming down sights that sticks out at the top is also flat on both side it recesses in a lil more from where it connects to the plasma pistol
It will also be nice for a reference link, last thing your edges are super tight

The handle material also could use some better definition. At the moment it looks more like an orange blob. I think this is a good example http://www.diamonddentalsupplies.com/content/images/thumbs/0006125_integra-miltex-knife-handle-no-6-5-14-133-cm-red-plastic-with-stainles-tip-fitting-surgical-blades-n.jpeg. See how the indent pops a little more because the edgers are a tad sharper?
Hope this helps! I look forward to seeing more from you!
nope its my high poly
can you please clarify?
feedback would be appreciated
