Noire Wizard of Oz in 1940's Space

Hi,

I am concepting some characters for an illustrated series on the Wizard of Oz. The setting is space, the theme is noire, and the style is realism. I would appreciate feedback on which silhouettes you guys think look best.

Themes: Noire- dark, mystery/murder in a 1940's setting.
Space: All non-human creatures in the story are assumed aliens.
Art style: Realism.

Dorothy looks cool, but watch those proportions for the legs.

I feel she needs more tech, maybe a belt with stuff on it? Elbow pads?

The witch design looks really boring, like a gardener.
