Getting back into fixing up my game engine. I need to release a game at some point in my indie career. The last week I've been updating my terrain tools and messing with all my shaders and terrain texturing algorithms.
Right now the focus over this weekend is adding more plants and optimizing some drawing algorithms. I'd like to eventually make the terrain/vegetation rendering tech into a terrain tool. I know there are lots of those tools out there but they aren't integrated with any actual rendering/shaders to export directly to an engine. Well see though, that's far off. My focus now is keeping the tech internal. I have lots of improvements on the terrain technology in the backlog. This is just the beginning of the next leap.
I will try to update over the coming weeks.
