What do "IE" and "ID" stand for?

I was recommended taking IE or ID as art school majors. I'm not very familiar with program abbreviations though.

Already found out ID is Industrial Design, but how about IE?

Anyone's willing to guess?

Yeah man, I'm seriously in between illustration and some sort of design. I do think I'd enjoy illustration much more though.

I feel like ID could of also meant interior design, I've noticed on a few job positions like at Rockstar that have specific Interior Artist titles with their forms stating an Interior Design degree is a plus.
