Looking great so far.
Unfortunately I don't have any experiences in hard surface modelling.
The head might looks a bit too round to me.
I would try to make it a bit longer and maybe make the chin a bit more pointy, if that makes sense.

Thanks anura! I changed it a lil after your comment so thanks!
I made a bit of fan art from it.
He looks kinda wobbly for a precisely made robot - I'm still not sure why there are so many people doing hard surface modelling in z-brush... I think you get much nicer results using good old sub-d in maya or max. But thats just me talking.

I see your point, I come from a background of moddeling in max, but if I was try this max I wouldnt even get half way before I gave up. With the next update of zbrush on it's way hard surface will only improve so I felt it was a good time to learn
This is a concept I did way back, decided to make it to learn Fusion 360. Let me know what you think. Change a few things whilst making it but I learned a lot!
Bullpup carbine assault rifle, firing 5.56 effective up to 600 meters. Featuring a custom reflex scope, flat trigger assembly and purpose built forgrip with laser designation hardware. A flared magwell and finished off with a flash hider rather than a silencer for CQB.
Art test for an application to Forgeworld / Gamesworkshop as a miniature designer. Although unsuccessful it was awesome to do. Arms dealer / Bounty hunter in the 40k / Necromunda universe.
One of my favourite designs and older miniatures was the Cadian Kasrkin so I felt I had to model one at some point. I tried to stay true to the originals but the limbs are little bit slimmer on my version.
Wanted to create a Primaris Space Marine as a hobby project.
As a veteran of the VI company Nemetheus Baltesk proudly lifts the ancient banner of Medusa and wields his hammer forged from the armour of his fallen brothers.
Seeing as the new table top release is coming soon I thought I would design a star player for BB just for fun.
Decided on a Human star player called 'Orlak Sturmdrang, Jr.'
His father 'Orlak Sturmdrang, Sr.' was the former captain of the team before Griff. He actually ran away with a whole elf cheerleading squad (lad), fast-forward time and here we are now, Jr. is now captain of the Reikland Reavers (at least in my totally non official world) now that Griff has left.
He's pretty agile for a human (or does he get his agility from his mother? Who is totally not an elf) and I think he'd fill a nice niche in the team with a good set of skills and a decent price. Terrible at passing though because he wants all the glory to himself.
Now he's captain he wears his fathers old armour and he sports some lovely boots his mother gave to him (which totally don't have any elf trickery to make him run faster).

My journey took a different path, but i'm still dabbling with 3D every now and again. I'll post some stuff along with with some 2D too wooooo.
Started learning Fusion 360, first thing I made was a MGS stun knife. I'll post up my current project later x

Made in Zbrush and rendered in Keyshot.
Any feedback would greatly appreciated.
Primaris Captain in Phobos Armour.
This miniature has a lot of different assets and textures/materials so wanted to copy it and learn from the original.
Great fun to do and hopefully I got pretty close to the original. Let me know what you think.
