Heres another shot of the issue with the wireframe included. The back face is removed, however I have closed it before and it still has this issue. I can post an obj if that would help find a solution. Thanks for looking!

Looks like a real simple geometry, can't you delete the polygons and keep the points (vertices) and rebuild everything poly by poly ?

Yes, that would work too. I just deleted the normal vertex map in the lists pane and that worked perfectly. Sorry I forgot I moved this thread when I got the solution.
