Hello, I am new to these forums and thought I'd share my practice pieces after lurking around for a while.
I do a lot of digital art and have been wanting to try out 3D for a while now. As a student I conveniently had access to 3DS Max for free, so I guess that's what I'll be mostly using. I've also had a course covering the basics, so it felt like the obvious choice.
As my first project I'll try to make a male character from start to finish. So far I've only made the head and some of the body, but I can already see some progress. The blue body was one of my first attempts, and the purple one is from today.
