Hi! its me again...
This time I am needing to do a baking of my surface/lamber shaders onto a texture map.
I have a big asset to texture in mari and I will like to use multiple surface shaders with different colors assigned to some meshes and bake them all so I can use it as a mask in mari.
Bassically is a pavement block composed of many rocks and I assigned a color to some of them using surface shaders, so I can use this as a mask when doing textures.
I am a bit new to maya still so please bare with me..
I saw the transfer tool but that requires me to have a high/low res mesh right? I only have high res mesh I want to bake colors onto.
if someone has any clue or thinks there might be a better way to achieve this, please let me know, thanks!
cheers

If your high res already has UV's then you can just duplicate it , use it as source and destination in the transfer tool, and bake out a map that way.
