Hi guys, would you guys let me know if I've blocked that sword out correctly and that if i could proceed to sculpting in zBrush?

P.S. just started learning these 3 days back. For now, i would like to only lean towards making of dota 2 items. What type of sculpting/modelling techniques should i leaned towards to if i just wanna focus on making dota 2 items?

Hard to say exactly by your image. I think I see a couple ngons on your model but I can't be sure. Or is that a NURMS preview? Other than that your mesh density is pretty uniform. I think the easiest path to getting what you have into ZBrush would be to actually turbosmooth your model and use the Reconstruct Subdiv to get your base mesh back. This shouldn't affect your UVs if you have them.

Hi there Bartalon, yes i used NURMS Sub-d. I followed a video online, and just tried to model something i find on the net. Alright, now i've used turbo smooth, but i don't get the "Reconstruct Subdiv" part.

Yeah, looks good, you can send it to ZBrush now. In ZBrush, under the Tool > Geometry palette (menu), there is a button just above Divide labeled "Reconstruct Subdiv" which will rebuild your model back to its original base mesh, before you applied the turbosmooth.
