Cryengine Terrain Material...how to increase/decrease tiling?

Hi erybody,

Probably a simple fix to this but i can't for the life of me figure it out so i am hoping somebody can help.

I have applied a grass material on my terrain in Cryengine and simply want to know how i can decrease the amount it tiles across the terrain. Any ideas?

Go into the materials editor and select the grass texture you had applied. Click on the litle arrow on the left of diffuse, then tiling and set a higher number in tileU and tileV

Hi grimsonfart (interesting name), thanks for the quick reply. So i did as you suggested but i can not see any options for tileU and tileV?? See attached image

Also be aware that the resolution you assign to your texture blocks in the terrain will take into effect in blending the textures. It is located up in the terrain menu bar as import/export terrain texture.
