zspheres drawing problem

Hi,

my problem is that when doing spheres I can't draw properly, all that happens
is that i get a zsphere like the very first one which grows bigger or smaller as I
move the cursor. so it wont add clay in a way that most brushes do in normal
editing mode. I have tried different brushes and strokes but the result is always
the same. I am having a wrong setting or something?

Thanks,

L

Ok, I guess what I have is the normal functioning of zspheres, but how do I activate that mode when zspheres are added is if drawing with a standard brush in normal editing mode?

I'm not sure what you're trying to do?

For the zsphere to work, you need to lay 1 down and activate edit mode (T).
in edit tool (Q) you'll be adding more zsphere to the existing one.
other manipulating tools (W E R) are for manipulating the zspheres you already laid down.

To preview what mesh your Zsphere creates, press a.
To finalize it and start sculpting, go to your tool menu > adaptive skin > Make Adaptive Skin

There are more things you can do with it such as holding down ctrl or alt while laying down new zspheres which will give you different effect.

You're looking for zsketching; it will be under Tool: ZSketch when you have a zsphere active. Once you enable it, you can use the specific zsketch brushes to add zspheres the way you want to.
