Mudbox - Crashed on startup problem

I've used mudbox 2012 student version with no problem for like 2 or 3 session, but then out of nowhere it crashed when i tried to run it.

The only workaround i found is to delete the mudbox settings in my document, and after that, i can start it again with no problem.

But it happen so often that i had to delete the settings countless of time, and its getting annoying.

Is there any way to fix this problem permanently? I've tried to download other version of mudbox from autodesk, but the problem still exist.

Have you tried uninstalling 2012, restarting, and then installing a newer version? Sounds like your 2012 install has become corrupted somehow, usually deleting the settings files takes care of crashes on startup.

try narrowing down which settings actually cause the issue? there should be a number of files in your settings directory, try removing them one by one.

Yeah, sadly, still getting this error messages.

Just found out that it was the brushes settings.
That's why it annoyed me, i had to set all the custom brushes i use for my stuff all over again.

It's not a big deal actually, but i just want to know if there's someone with the same problem as mine, and if there's a fix for this.
If there isn't, well, i just gotta live with that..

well then, the fix would be to go through your custom brushes and see which one causes the problem.
