Personally I would try and find another angle to show. Even in the concept the composition is not the strongest, and without the character there it makes it even more jarring.
Aside from that, the lighting could use quite a bit of work. Your lighting color seems more saturated. Your lighting is also much darker and your occluded areas almost go black. Personally I would take this into UE4 and work with the lighting in there.
A friend of mine looked at it and said some of the proportions are off on it as well.
I was thinking about taking it to ue4 and ran some tests.. but the texture details seemed to be compressing at a distance. I'll look into it again.
I think I can tweak the lighting a bit and see what I can do in toolbag before doing all that.
I see what you mean regarding the comp without the character. It does look a little weird. It's like a voyeur shot with no voyeur and no one he's spying on.
