Hi guys, I used to work in 2D this time my team wants to try 3D approach, I have some knowledge on using MAYA (mostly animation, but modelling - rigging is just basic)

We're currently building a game which involves 4 tiny elemental characters (fire, earth, wind and water), the project should be more beautiful with 3D characters on 2d tiles. This is what we're experimenting.

1) For modelling question : do you think it is okay to seperate the eyes outside the body? Since there will be fluid animation (jump and stuff), I'm afraid it will mess up, please suggest me

2) If I rig the slime (water), how should I put the skeletal positioning?

3) I learned rigging for animation, but now I am in indie game production, I saw a different rigging style for game character, could you explain why? Can I do the same what I learn in normal animation to game rigging?

Thanks for your consideration reading this!
