Hi everybody,
I am trying to bake out a terrain height/displacement map from Mudbox and bring it into UE4 but I am having a problem in that the height map produced from Mudbox does not appear to have white/black range and is producing a much flatter terrain in UE4 than the original in Mudbox
I have tried many different settings in the bake and all are not giving the results I want. I even tried baking out from Xnormal and is is getting the same result...not enough depth in the baked heightmap
Any help on this issue would be massively appreciated.

Cheers for the speedy response btw.
The baked out height map should have much more contrast as there is very high parts to the terrain and very low parts. Any more ideas?
EDIT: You can also bake your terrain in Xnormal. With default heightmap settings it should give you the correct height.
I would assume so but I'm not really an unreal expert.
It looks like there are scale parameters when you import: https://docs.unrealengine.com/latest/INT/Engine/Landscape/Creation/index.html#importingaheightmapandlayers
You might be able to scale after the fact too, I assume simply scaling the terrain object would do it but I dunno.
Your height map looks about as expected to me.
Thanks for the advice guys.
