First time participating. Scribbled these out at lunch and did some forms in AI. Lions head isn't mine, I will have to draw my own out if I decide to continue with this design.

Nice ideation. I like how you're incorporating the Agatha Cross into the Hilt. Think you'll leave it solid or maybe layer some plating on it or maybe some etching?

The blade is going to be made of Damscus steel, so I will probably etch something else onto the rest of the metal to keep with that dark and light look. It will probably the Agatha cross arranged into some sort of Celtic style pattern as I believe that claymores are of Scottish origin.

Day 1 Progress.

Really like the designs you are working on. I would watch your proportions in your day 1 post though. The pommel seems a little on the small side.

Thanks! I downloaded the claymore from the Chivalry sight to get proportions for my model and realized that the hilt section of my design was far to fat and short, so I thinned it out and stretched it, but you are right, the pommel needs to be enlarged to fit the proportions of the crossguard.

No time to model today, so here is a quick helmet concept.

That will be a good design. just watch out and make sure the bottom part of the helmet doesn't come down too far to stabbing the knight in the chest
