I actualyl liked the bare bodied concept more. It just doesn't fit lore an aesthetics wise that its a mouse, yes chivalry has lore
If it were a dragon or a lion it would make more sense and have a place in the game. This is just my opinion though. You can check for yourself on the official chivalry forums what people actually want to see.
The general consensus is no over the top or too fantasy thingy's.

I thought of that. But now game has a castle on a volcano, dark knights, barbarians and Avian Rage Maul. It will be hard to ruin such solid aesthetics with a rat

My flail is rigged same way as original, but looks like it is not animating in AnimSet Editor. Original flail behaves the same too. Don't know how to make it work for preview.

Your double axe is a cool concept though. I like how the edges are swords being held. Too bad its a mouse instead of dragon or lion hehe
