Looks cool so far, if you are worried about the head of the hammer, what about making it just the head of an eagle instead of the whole eagle. Would read as a little bit sturdier too perhaps? That helmet looks rad as well! Looking forward to seeing more.
Before you get to texturing, just wanted to remind you that the shaders they're using do not support opacity/alpha maps or double sided shader. I am not sure how you're doing the feathers so just wanted to let you know.
No problem. I had debated using alphas on my helmet and doing some feathers but had found out that wouldn't really be an option for me. Hope it didn't set you back too much.

For the model it was pretty cool to do especially the helmet, perhaps one more hour of work on the hammer for the texture, and need to make it a little less blocky (i don't use all the tri it was allowed).
Sorry you weren't able to get it submitted before the clock ran out. I put mine on steam this morning not knowing the clock ran out. With any luck both of ours will get in. Either way it might be fun to create more stuff.

I tried to use the herald of the mason on the helm with the eagle and the warhammer with the eagle and the fist.
i'm not sure about the head of the warhammer so comment is welcome.
Here a Advanced base mesh for the helm, i'm going to sculpt it now.

I know for the shading to not support the alpha but they are no double sided ?
