Are there any full/complete detailed modeling tutorials for modeling say a WWII fighter.
High Poly -> Low Poly
Texture including full detailing - color, spec, bump, normal full high quality details like rivets, panel lines, hatches, etc.
I am kind of getting tired of seeing these fantastic models and then only finding tutorials that show how to make a cube, pull out a face, and add a edge then say okay now you can build anything. sigh.
I would really like to see a tutorial that goes through the process of creating a complete DETAILED game ready aircraft model.

But you do got to get out of the mindset that you need tutorials of everything you want to make. You need to take what you've learned and apply it to something you are making. Of course when you are just starting out, tutorials are not a bad thing to learn from.
is there a tutorial for that?
None of this is ever covered or discussed. You just have to try to figure it out or have someone who knows how share the secrets with you. Just once I would like to see what it takes to complete a fully HIGH detailed model with lots of surface detail.
