I am a student of a education Game artist. This is what i made in my vacation, i made some more things but i want some feedback on this shotgun, my first one.

Way too heavy on the edge wear. No edge wear would actully look better. If you use that same edge color, you could instead make some unique scratches (don't need to be around the edges).

Like dpadam said, the edge wear is a bit much. Try using a more textured brush to add some scratches into the spec map around that area. Millenia has a good tutorial on a gun very similar to this
