Hotkey for Freeform tools [3ds Max retopo]
Hey,
I am using Graphite Modeling Tools set in 3ds Max to retopo my high polygon model. Under Freeform tab there are 3 main options: Step Build, Extend and Optimize. I was able to assign key for each of them but not for functions. For example Step Build allows to drag vertex around the grid when pressing Ctrl + Shift + Alt (+ drag) hotkey. I find it quite irritant to press 3 keys each time when vertex has to be moved.
Also noticed that Ctrl (+ click) deletes selected polygon. I don't get how deleting polygons could be more important than selecting vertexes.
Does anyone know, if it is possible to switch vertex drag hotkey under Step Build tool? Either Custom UI has no matching name convension for that or I did not find it.
